FULL SESSION PAYMENT

Motion Dance Movement observes the following breaks: Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break. The value of any missed classes due to these holidays has been calculated and is reflected in the tuition rates.

In the event of inclement weather, Motion Dance Movement will follow Douglas County Schools for closures.

SPRING SESSION ENROLLMENt

Students enrolled in the Fall Session will be automatically re-enrolled and billed for the Spring Session unless written notice of withdrawal is submitted by December 15th.

Recital participation & Fees

All students are expected to participate in recitals unless written notice is provided prior to the due date of recital and costume fees.

  • Recital Costume Fees: $55 per class

    • Fall Session: Due October 15th

    • Spring Session: Due February 15th

  • Recital Participation Fee: $35 per dancer

    • Fall Session: Due November 15th
      Spring Session: Due April 15th

These fees cover expenses such as theater rental, lighting and sound technicians, tech support, choreography, insurance, props, backdrops, and custodial services.

Additional Recital-Related Costs:
Optional items such as tickets, photographs, video recordings, flowers, and recital shirts will be available for purchase in the weeks leading up to the recital.

A 2.89% surcharge will be applied to all credit card payments.

ACH Return Fee: $10

Tuition is billed by session.. The Fall Session runs from September through December, and the Spring Session spans January through May. Each session includes a recital performance (Fall Recital: November; Spring Recital: April).

Tuition Payment Options

  • Monthly installments

  • A 10% discount for full session payment made in advance

Annual Registration Fee:

  • $35 per dancer

  • $60 per family

Sibling Discount:

Families receive 10% off tuition for each additional sibling enrolled. Sibling Discount cannot be combined with any other offers, including full session discount.

At Motion Dance Movement, we believe that what you wear should help you move freely, express yourself, and feel confident. Our dress code isn’t about rules—it’s about supporting your artistry, safety, and comfort.

General Guidelines

  • Move Freely – Wear clothing that allows a full range of motion. If you can leap, bend, and turn without restriction, you’re good to go!

  • Feel Confident – Choose outfits that make you feel empowered and ready to dance.

  • Stay Safe – Make sure clothing fits securely enough to avoid tripping or tangling.

  • Respect the Space – Please wear clean dance shoes or socks to protect our floors.

Recommended Dancewear

(These are suggestions, not requirements!)

  •  Ballet - leotard, tights, leggings, athletic form fitting tops/crop tops and ballet shoes (NO sweatpants, sweatshirts or oversized t-shirts)

  • Jazz/Contemporary/Lyrical/Modern//Theatrical Jazz - Barefoot (instructors will specify shoes needed for recital

  • Acro/Tumbling - Form fitting clothes that will not be too revealing when dancers are upside down or learning new tricks (leotard, etc) , barefoot

  • Hip Hop/Jazz Funk - No shorts, clean, non-marking soled shoes (running/athletic shoes, etc.)
